Note: This post has a lot of photos in it!
In the morning on Saturday, Dad and I got up and caught the Star Ferry to Central Harbourside to go to the Hong Kong Classic car show. From the boat we saw the city and lots of boats taking cargo and people around the harbour.
When we got off the boat we went in and we saw a lot of cars. There was a lot of Ferraris and Porsches and Lamborghinis. They were really cool and some of them were very old. There was a DeLorean DMC-12 like on the Back To The Future movies.
There was a Toyota AE86 Trueno like on Initial D.
This was the first ever Trueno. Dad had never seen one of these before.
This Lamborghini Huracan was the only new car there.
This BMW Isetta has only three wheels. Also the door is the front of the car. It also has no reverse gear, so if you park too close to something you can not get out.
This is the Napier-Railton. It is the only one in the world and has a 24 litre, W12 aeroplane engine. It set speed records in the 1930s and is valued at over $18 million Australian dollars. It is really big.
This is the Sophie IV solar powered racing car.
This 1990 AC Cobra was bought new by singer Rod Stewart.
This Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2 was owned by Sir Paul McCartney from The Beatles.
This 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom is owned by The Peninsula Hotel which owns a lot of Rolls-Royce cars.
Dad hopes to win this postcard signed by Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna in a competition.
Rachael met up with us and we caught another ferry to Lamma Island.
We saw two lots of twins. One even had a mobile phone.
This tank had huge fish in it nearly as big as me.
We met up with Marian and Luna for lunch and then we went to the park.
Then we walked to the beach and had a swim.
After that we came home and we were watching TV and in one of the ad breaks it said that there was a movie coming up and it said it was the movie of the month. And the movie was called “Thor: The Dark World”. And after the movie ended we all went to bed.
Today we got up, had a shower, and packed the suitcase to go back to Rachael’s apartment. We were walking around Harbour City and got drinks and Dad and I went in to Log-On and I had a go of a little Parrot Drone. It could jump really high in the air. You control it with your iPhone or iPad.
Then we found a Swatch shop and Rachael bought me a watch! Thanks Rachi!!
We had a walk around Tsim Sha Tsui and caught a taxi back to Rachael’s apartment.
