We had a late night last night so I am writing Thursday’s blog on Friday.

We were playing cards in the morning. Then we went out and walked to Kowloon Park. On the way we stopped so I could try to take some long exposure photos in Harbour City which is the shopping centre downstairs.

To take a long exposure photo the camera has to be sitting on something that does not move like a tripod. I didn’t have one so I used a display box that was in the mall. Then you have to set the camera so the shutter is open for one second or more. This makes moving things go blurry which looks cool.

Then we got to Kowloon Park and saw the Sculpture Walk and then we found a pond with flamingos in it. It was fairly big. The flamingos were pretty and white and pink.

We walked some more…

… until we found a maze.

After the maze we went to the bird aviary. There were cockatoos, parrots, and they had all sorts of pretty birds.

Then we went to the pool and I had a swim. The pool was very big and refreshing to go in.

We went into the Chinese Garden and there was a little pond and it had turtles in it.

After the park we went to Manakamana Restaurant with some friends for dinner. I had momos which are like dumplings and chicken and naan bread. Drew took me and the other boys to get some ice-cream after we finished.

After dinner we went to the Temple Street Night Market and I bought some presents for people back home.
